Agriculture and Horticultural Works :

Himachal Pradesh is the only state where 89.96 per cent population lives in rural areas. Therefore, agriculture and horticulture are the most important activities which provide direct employment to about 62 per cent of the total workforce.
The district Solan , Una , Hamirpur , Kangra etc. are good producers of wheat and rice whereas district Shimla , Kinnaur , Lahul Spiti and Kullu are large producer of Apples , Pear etc. 

Industrial works :

Baddi - Barotiwala - Nalagarh , Parwanoo Are known for Industry . In Himachal Pradesh Pharma and Food Industries are more Successful than Than others . Here are some of the famous Industries such as Havells , Cadbury , Nestle . Himachal already has Asia’s largest pharma manufacturing hub, that is the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial belt, and the state produces around half of India’s total drug formulations.

 Ratan Naval Tata was born on 28 December 1937 at Surat ( Gujrat ) . He is an Indian Industrialist and  philanthropist, and a former chairman of Tata Sons. Shri Ratan Naval Tata is a respective personality of India . Ratan Tata believes in sharing and caring . He used to donate a large amount of money in education and Rural Development programs . It is very very important for the world to understand the importance of the animals . Animals are very important for ecosystem . But Humans are getting cruel towards animals just for their own need . Due to deforestation animals are not able to live in there original habitats and these animals are getting endangered  .
